The 10th Wittenham Charity Music Festival or Wittfest is held in the grounds of the Plough Inn, Long Wittenham, near Didcot, Oxfordshire and takes place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th June. The event is a FREE music festival raising money for local charities.

There will be a wide range of musical genres on offer and plenty of opportunity to join in with all of the themed sessions throughout the festival weekend.

The line-up includes Folk with Lucy, Shackleton with Lucy, Jazz and Blues with Paul, Ballads with Caroline, Pete Orton, Age Concern Singing Group (Witney) with Rachel, Tunes with Geoff and Linda, and Shanties with Short Drag Roger.

In addition to the main acts, there will also be themed 'joining in' sessions in the Family Room in the Plough. At other times, the room is available for spontaneous 'singarounds'/tune sessions.

There are also Outdoor Acoustic Sessions in the garden area which has numerous other attractions.

The festival starts on the Friday evening and runs until late Sunday afternoon.

As well as music there is expected to be a children's play area, food and drink available, stalls, tombola, tea tent, etc.

Last year, the festival raised £2,344. The total was divided equally between local charities, Helen & Douglas House Hospices, and Against Breast Cancer who received cheques for £1,167 each.
