Words And Music Festival is a new small festival launched by singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore taking place from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th October at Nantwich in Cheshire. This is a festival organised by musicians for musicians to come and play it, and for lovers of music attend.
Music acts so far confirmed include Thea Gilmore - SOLD OUT, Eliza Carthy, Bob Harris and Mark Radcliffe.
Pus the literature side of the festival will see Bob Harris hosting a special night of stories from his 40 year career in the business and Mark Radcliffe reading from his new book. Plus Don Paterson, a poet from Scotland who'll be reading his work and also playing jazz guitar, plus acoustic sessions, fringe events at different venues in the town, and even writing competitions.

Thea Gilmore will be launching the weekend with what will be her only North West gig for many many months with a special sold out acoustic show at the Crown Ballroom in the centre of Nantwich on the opening night - Thursday October 9th.
The festival also holds a FREE Acoustic Sunday session on Sunday 12th October from 2pm at Costa Coffee, Church Walk, Nantwich with artists including Katy Lied, Sarah Dickson, and Danny Chivers.
