The 11th Yellow's on the Broom International Music & Arts Festival takes place in Inverbervie on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of May 2010.
This festival of music, art and craft-forms has taken place each May since 2000 and hosts International and Scottish performers with the emphasis on quality and non-mainstream acts representing international cultures.
Line-up
Skerryvore top the bill on Saturday, Sunday's headliner is Donnie Munro and Band. Manosanta and special Act Strange bird Zirkus, play on Saturday and Sunday. My Albatross, and The Moonzie Allstars are confirmed for Saturday, and Georgia Crawl on Sunday. A total of 16 acts including Atman & The Nightingale, The Dull Fudds, Lord Todhead & The Beamers, an aerial circus, an illusionist and various other surprises appear on two stages over the evenings of the weekend.Tickets

Taking place inside a barn on rural farmland, each evening the festival has two stages offering live international and homegrown acts ranging from tango to rock 'n' roll, Gaelic ballads to indie rock, R&B blues harp to guitar fingerpicking, peppered with surprises and a broad palette of local art forms.The style of the festival is deliberately aimed to appeal to all ages with children's features earlier in the evening. Seating at genuine 'Biergarten' tables on wooden flooring provides for good views of the two stages and the dance floor area. Refreshments will be available in the spacious bar in the barn's stone-arched alcoves by the main floor area.
High standard, professional outdoor catering is available on site providing German wurst, Scottish haggis and stovies, French crepe and gallettes and hamburgers.
As a family-friendly festival, the organisers would like to stress all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. The festival has a professionally run bar so there is no requirement to bring alcoholic drinks to this event - any drinks brought in will be confiscated. Also to note is that the doors open at 7.15, music starts at 7.30pm and doors close around 10.00pm or earlier.
Other events
Music, Dance, Craft and other, to be announced, tuition workshops are on offer for adults and children during the Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the nearby Mill of Benholm between 1-5PM on Saturday and 2-5PM Sunday. As well as the workshops, there will be 'Fringe Events' leading up to and after the event.Accommodation
