Dance Island, the electronic dance festival held near Ely, Cambridgeshire, has confirmed its first acts for its second festival, which takes place on Saturday 4th July.
The first major name to be announced for 2009 is worldwide Drum n Bass superstars Pendulum, headlining with a DJ set from El Hornet and MC Jakes.
BIG, Slinky, Raindance, Natural Born Ravers, Koolwaters and Kiss FM are all set to return to host arenas at the 09 event, with residents from the brands including BBC Radio 1's new kid on the block Kutski, Big Ben, Lee Haslam, Marc Vedo, JB Project, and Nikki Elise.
A limited number of 'early bird' tickets are on sale, priced at £35, and are available from here (full price tickets will cost £42.50).
