Returning from last year is The Wishing Tree, hosted by The Siblinghood of the Adjoined Orbs, which has grown in size this year, with the mini bar within the tree now known as 'The Wood Cutters Arms', the smallest pub in the world.

After the last band on the Main Stage French company Quidams will present, Herbert's Dream, a luminous and stunning night parade, and also on site will be a Crazy Golf course.

This year Bestival welcome the Alfresco Ballroom and a chance for Festivals goers to salsa, cha cha, and tango throughout the weekend. Food tweeter and 'Supper Club' founder MsMarmitelover AKA Kerstin Rodgers will also be at Bestival with The Underground Restaurant offering foodies three sittings a day – lunch, dinner and a midnight supper.

Bestival has also unveiled a brand new area, The Roller Disco, billed as the mother of all roller discos with music from a giant-sized jukebox stage that will feature DJs, and free hire vintage roller skates or the chance to get pimped up trucks on your footwear.

NoFit State Circus will be presenting 'Parklife', featuring a company of 10 international circus artists and musicians who will emerge from their crazy caravan to dazzle you daily with public taster workshops, creative exchanges, public rehearsals, happenings and impromptu high skill guerrilla performances, all accompanied by the ever popular NoFit State band.

For adrenaline junkies Bestival are also playing host to a Wall of Death from Hell's Riders, and the Free Sports Park, the UK's biggest touring sports park, featuring displays including Mountain Board Freestyle and Big Air, Mountain Bike Freestyle Jumping, Mountain Bike Trials, BMX, Inline, Skate and Parkour and if festival goers with their own gear can have a crack too.

For those wanting to keep up their looks while camping (why?) there's The Secret Emporium offering milliners, jewellers, fashion designers and artists displaying hand picked goodies for sale.

There will also be two more brand new attractions; The Ambient Forest, hidden deep in the woods, will have spoken word programmed by Scroobius Pip, the David Lynch Foundation presenting meditation workshops and leftfield musical offerings and the best ambient and horizontal DJs in the world including Tom Middleton, Chris Coco, Phil Mison, and Pete Gooding. And, new to the Wishing Tree field, The Swamp Shack; a ramshackle Louisiana bayou juke, straight from the pages of a Southern Gothic fairytale.

In the Cabaret Tent there's Boom Boom Club, Gay Bingo, Who's Talent is it Anyway and Marisa Carnesky's Wunder Kabinet Show. There will also be the Blackout Gigs featuring live performances by acts taking place in complete darkness, Classic Album Sundays and Guerilla Science in the Tomorrow's World field.

Bestival regulars have been confirmed to return too including Heavenly Healing, the Pamper Lounge, Come Dancing classes and competitions in the Spiegal Tent during the daytime every day, with a chance to learn dance moves from The Jiving Lindy Hoppers
.

They join the previously announced all new Bestival Block Party on Saturday afternoon. Taking inspiration from the Blocos or individual sections of Brazil's Rio carnival, the Block Party will be a parade divided up into a number of blocks, each one with its own name, identity and uniform designed and funded by festival goers themselves.

Festival organiser Rob da Bank said, "It's rare that I'm to be found not banging on about music, bands and tunes 24 hours a day but just for a minute I must pause to tell you about the amazing non-music business happening at Bestival 2011. From our very own new structures the Swamp Shack with its voodoo vibes to the Roller Disco to burn off the pies, from infamous food blogger MsMarmitelover's Underground Restaurant to your very own humungous Free Sports Park with everything from BMX to Inline Skating and Parkour lessons...plus the Wishing Tree is expanding with the world's smallest pub, an incredible array of cabaret and a bloomin' great circus and so much more... Bestival is not getting bigger this year and we're nearly sold out so get your (roller) skates on!"

The Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Divas themed Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th of September 2011, Pendulum headline the Friday, with The Cure headlining the Saturday while Primal Scream present 'Screamadelica' in its entirety, headlining the Big Top on Saturday night.

Also confirmed are Brian Wilson, Magnetic Man, Robyn, Crystal Castles, DJ Shadow, Katy B, LFO, Omar Souleyman + Sublime Frequencies, 65daysofstatic, Cranes, Boys Noize, Diplo, A-Trak, Norman Jay, Grandmaster Flash, David Rodigan, 2 Bears, Carte Blanche (DJ Mehdi & Riton), Pantha Du Prince, and The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain, and many more.
