Bestival adds Bat For Lashes, Ben Howard, & SBTRKT

Bat For Lashes, Ben Howard, and SBTRKT lead the latest raft of acts confirmed for this September's 'Wildlife' themed Bestival.

Also confirmed are Roots Manuva, Alabama Shakes, Sage Francis as UK festival exclusive, Grimes, Chairlift, Gesaffelstein, Iceage, Ren Harvieu, Factory Floor, Porcelain Raft, and Toy.

Also heading to the Wight isle are Kindness, Dismantle, Dirty Beaches, General Levy, Top Cat feat. Sir Coxsone Outernational, Josh Kumra, Errors, Trailer Trash Tracys, Forest Swords, Stay +, Skinny Lister, Misty's Big Adventure, Ryan Keen , Nina Nesbitt, Big Kids, The Lovely Eggs, Alt-J, St Spirit, Charming, Shepherds, and Sean McGowan.

DJs taking to the decks at Bestival are Moodymann, Kavinsky, and Girl Unit, with Mixmaster Morris, Chris Coco, Phil Mison, and Pete Goodingconfirmed for the Ambient Forest.

There are still two more headliners, and many more still to be announced.

I'm delighted that Natasha Khan is bringing her Bat For Lashes guise back to Bestival, her shows are always otherworldly and plain incredible. Add in electronic soul wunderkind SBTRKT, UK hip-hop legend Roots Manuva (playing on his fortieth birthday no less!), the new king of folk Ben Howard, the incredible Alabama Shakes and American poet Sage Francis doing his only UK show of the year plus a very special Moodymann set playing in the Roller Disco complete with his roller disco crew flown in from the States and I'm ready to roll! Music aside, we are as usual ramping up the level of non-music related activity so if you want to take part in a nighttime ping-pong tournament in the woods, go tree climbing or join the Wildlife tug of war (first round will be Foxes vs Cockroaches) then keep checking this website for loads more fun and games! New Order will headline Saturday, with Orbital will be headlining the Big Top on Sunday. The xx, and Sigur Ros will both be UK festival exclusives. The ninth Bestival, will be held at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th Septembewr 2012.

Tickets for Bestival sold out last year. Early Bird Tickets including entry from Thursday 6th September are priced at £170 for Adult Tickets and £110 for Teen (age 13-17) Tickets. For those arriving on or after Friday 7th September Adult Tickets are priced at £165 or £105 for Teen (age 13-17) Tickets. Tickets for children (age 12 & under) are free (but must have a ticket).

There is also a ticket Payment Plan available - pay a sixth of the total ticket price (plus booking fees & postage) now, with the further five payments spread across the following five consecutive months.

Campervan Tickets are priced at £65 (per vehicle) and are strictly limited to 1 per transaction/customer. Your Campervan must be specially adapted for people to stay in (which does not include transit vans with a mattress in the back or 4x4s with the seats folded down). If your vehicle is longer than 7 metres you will need to purchase two Campervan Tickets. Cars will not be allowed into the Campervan area at any time so consequentially Caravans, Trailer Tents etc are not permitted.
