I Am Kloot, and Roddy Frame join Inspiral Carpets as headliners of the family friendly Ramsbottom Festival which takes place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th September 2012 at the riverside location of Ramsbottom Cricket Club, Ramsbottom, in Lancashire.

I am Kloot will be bringing even more Mancunian prowess to the festival on Saturday and Roddy Frame, of Aztec Camera fame, headlines an enthralling day of folk; joining the likes of Heidi Talbot, Kan, Rachel Sermanni, In Fear Of Olive on Sunday.

Other acts confirmed are Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six on Saturday, and Aircav on Sunday.

The Inspiral Carpets will headline on Friday with support from The Janice Graham band. Admiral Fallow; The Leisure Society; Session A9; Roddy Woomble, Johnny Kearney and Lucy Farrell are appearing on Saturday. Sunday's line-up includes Seth Lakeman, Thea Gilmore, Miles Hunt, Biederbeck, Harp and a Monkey, Jenny McCormick, and Danny Mahon, with more acts to be announced in due course.

The Ramsbottom Festival is a not-for-profit project managed by The Met, an arts charity and performance venue in Bury. As well as all the bands, Rammy has a fun-filled array of festival activities for all ages, from arts and music workshops and story telling to comedy, a funfair, a real ale tent, food and the silent disco.

David Agnew, festival organiser and director of The Met in Bury, said, "We're thrilled to have an eclectic line-up which will attract people to a great festival location..

" We look forward to welcoming devout music fans as well as local audiences who have not experienced anything quite like it before. The line up is brilliant; full of fantastic music, comedy and family activities; it's a friendly atmosphere and an affordable weekend party right on Manchester's doorstep."

A weekend ticket is priced at £50, a family weekend ticket for two adults and two children (over 6 and under 16) is priced at £120. A child weekend ticket for those aged over 6 and under 16 years is priced at £10. There's free entry for children aged under 6 years but they still need a ticket.
