Due to pressure from fans, from 9am tomorrow (Thursday, 13th December), early bird tickets will go back on sale for four days for Cornbury Music Festival taking place at The Great Tew Estate, at Chipping Norton over three days from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th July 2013.
The offer which will last until midnight on Sunday, 16th December will give discounts of £35 for an adult weekend camping ticket and a saving of £110 for a family of four. Once the offer is over full price tickets will go on general sale in the New Year.
Cornbury Festival director Hugh Phillimore said, "I've now been persuaded by various of our regular supporters that because they somehow missed the deadline I should offer the early bird deal one more time.
"So... in the spirit of Christmas goodwill and just because it's our 10th anniversary, we'll make the early bird offer available for four days from 9am this Thursday through until midnight on Sunday. After that, that really is it! We've been totally overwhelmed by this year's response for which we're extremely grateful."
There are no acts confirmed yet for the 10th anniversary which will have favourite acts from the past decade sharing the stage with specially requested newcomers in a Cornbury Greatest Hits-inspired line-up. Cornbury Festival aims to be, "an eccentric musical carnival - a relaxed country fair where music-lovers share pint pots and glasses of champagne with superstars and morris dancers, toffs and rockers, crooners, farmers, and fashionistas."
In addition to the music, expect the festival to offer a variety of attractions including a fairground, many morris dance pageants, children's theatre workshops, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and posh catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.
For those not planning to drive to Great Tew, there will be subsidised bus services leaving from Banbury and Charlbury stations meeting trains from the north and south of the country.
An early bird adult weekend with camping ticket is priced at £150, a young Person (ages 13-16 years inclusive) weekend with camping ticket is priced at £90.
