Squeeze, Keane, and Seth Lakeman will headline the 10th Cornbury Music Festival taking place at The Great Tew Estate, at Chipping Norton over three days from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th July 2013.
Returning acts from Cornbury festivals past include Imelda May in a record breaking 8th appearance, along with other public requested returnees Squeeze, Bellowhead, Beverley Knight, The Proclaimers, Echo and the Bunnymen, Seth Lakeman, and Tift Merritt.
The full line-up announced so far is:
Friday: Squeeze, Beverley Knight, Imelda May, The Overtones, King Charles, Nell Bryden, and Matthew Lee.
Saturday: Keane, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Proclaimers, James Arthur, Jack Savoretti, Lawson, Emilia Mitiku, Osibisa, JJ Grey, and Velvet Stream.
Sunday: Seth Lakeman, Bellowhead, Tift Merritt, Van Morrison, Staxs, Amy Macdonald, Lucy Spraggan, The Riptide Movement, Sadie & the Hotheads, The Chipping Norton Allstars, and Bo Bruce.
The festival will also feature the Absolute Radio Comedy Stage, and the creators of BBC panel show QI, and, the festival will even has its own beer. Independent local brewer Hook Norton have created anniversary ale, The Glorious 10th, available in nearby watering holes prior to the event for anyone keen to do their research.
Cornbury Festival director Hugh Phillimore said, "I'm truly amazed that we have reached our 10th anniversary were all really proud to have created such a well-regarded event which we feel ranks amongst the best in the UK. It's been an interesting road we've obviously grown-up with the event and learnt many lessons along the way and I'm particularly thrilled that we've managed to secure such a fantastic bill in our anniversary year."
2013 is the tenth Cornbury Festival and will have favourite acts from the past decade sharing the stage with specially requested newcomers in a Cornbury Greatest Hits-inspired line-up. Cornbury Festival aims to be an eccentric musical carnival - a relaxed country fair where music-lovers share pint pots and glasses of champagne with superstars and morris dancers, toffs and rockers, crooners, farmers, and fashionistas.
An adult weekend with camping ticket is priced at £190, a young Person (ages 13-16 years inclusive) weekend with camping ticket is priced at £110. A child (ages 3-12 years inclusive) weekend with camping ticket is priced at £30. A senior, aged over 70s weekend with camping ticket is priced at £110. An adult weekend without camping ticket is priced at £160, a young person (13-16) weekend without camping ticket is priced at £80, a child (3-12) weekend without camping ticket is priced at £25, and an over 70s weekend without camping ticket is £80. A campervan ticket is priced at £85. All children aged 2 and under, and Disabled Carers free. Day tickets are also available priced at £70 for Friday, and £80 for Saturday or Sunday.
