Bryan Adams and Jamiroquai to headline Magic Summer Live

Bryan Adams and Jamiroquai lead the acts announced for Live Nation's Magic Summer Live a two day event happening at Stoke Park, Guildford in Surrey on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2013.

Jamiroquai headline Saturday with what will be their only UK performance this year. Bryan Adams is Sunday's headliner of the new event which happens at the same location and in the same spot in the calendar as GuilFest. Also confirmed are James Morrison, Joss Stone, Squeeze, Level 42, Soul II Soul Sound System, The Overtones, Kim Wilde.

More acts to be announced soon. In addition to the Main Stage, the 'West End' Stage will showcase performances from musicals and shows, with details to be announced soon.

Tickets will be priced at £110 for a two day ticket for adults, and £55 for children, or £60 for an adult day ticket, and £30 for children. Tickets will go on sale at 8am this Friday, 15th March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

On hearing of this new event, Tony Scott head of the GuilFest Team issued a statement saying, "We'd hoped after discussions at the end of last year between Guildford Borough Council and ourselves, there may have been the possibility for us to put on another 'GuilFest mark 2' in the summer but with this news it seems this will no longer be possible. After 21 fantastic years of putting on GuilFest, we'd like to say a huge thank you to the many thousands who've been either involved or attended making GuilFest one of the best festivals of its kind in the UK... We really hope that this won't be the end and that in the near future we will be back with another festival."
