8 more acts for Magic Summer Live

With just over seven weeks until Bryan Adam and Jamiroquai headline Live Nation's Magic Summer Live 8 more acts have been announced for the two day event happening at Stoke Park, Guildford in Surrey on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2013.

Joining Jamiroquai on the bill for Saturday are Alexander O'Neil, Aswad, Loose Ends, and Gwen Dickey's Rose Royce.

Bryan Adams is Sunday's headliner and he tops a line-up that now includes The Real Thing, Omar, Heatwave, and Jaki Graham.

Already confirmed are Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Ocean Colour Scene, Beverley Knight, James Morrison, Joss Stone, Squeeze, Level 42, Soul II Soul, The Overtones and Kim Wild. More acts to be announced soon.

The festival is also offering local talent the chance to play with Andertons, The Boileroom and ACM (The Academy Of Contemporary Music) recently announcing a dedicated local stage 'Surrey Sessions Stage' featuring up and coming local musicians from Guildford. There will be an open competition for acts to compete for a spot for both days, entrants can apply via a video submission to a shared Youtube channel. The successful artists will then be hand-picked via live performance heats which will take place throughout May and June at The Boileroom.
