Public Enemy, Seasick Steve, Johnny Marr, The D.O.T. lead the latest additions for this year's eighth Kendal Calling.

Also confirmed is The D.O.T.'s Mike Skinner with a DJ set in the Glow Dance Tent, plus Nina Nesbitt, Prince Fatty ft. The Horseman, Hudson Taylor, Scrufizzer, Justin Robertson, Beans on Toast, The Heartbreaks, A Plastic Rose, Sam Bradley, The Feud, Will Tramp, Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets), Gareth Brooks, Seelie, Dave Haslam, Werkha, Techniques, Champs, Jinx In Dub, Baggy Mondays, London Grammar, Silhouette, Sweet Baboo, Peter & Kerry, Dan Croll, Hatcham Social, Fiona Clayton, Charlene Soraia, and Lauren Aquilina.

Other acts confirmed today are Misty Miller, Micky P Kerr, Waylayers, Ash Howell, Beat Boutique DJs, The Witch And The Robot, Birds Vs. Planes, The Lucid Dream, Nancy Kent, Herbal Sessions Soundsystem, Lowdown & Dirty Residents, Spirit of John, Jack Bee, Gamu, Throwing Up, Slowgun, Jakarta Club, Black Cat DJs, The Whip (DJ set), Alex Hulme, Karl Yates, Dermo, and Fallback Productions .

Heading to the Lake District this summer will be Sam P, Sauced Residents, Paper Cranes, Gritty Britain, Howling Rhythm DJs, Spirit of John, Mobius Loop, The Wax Collection, Handbrake Shirley, Clique DJs, The Velveteen Saints, Mark Abbott, Ben Dyson, Joe McCorriston, Tea Street Band, Bad Bad Me, Gramotones, Edger Summertyme, and All We Are.

Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July 2013, with early entry available on Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers multiple stages and areas. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more.

Already confirmed are Basement Jaxx, The Charlatans, & Primal Scream who headline. They top a line-up that will include I Am Kloot, Mystery Jets, Lightning Seeds (Acoustic), Ash, Fake Blood, and British Sea Power with a special show for their 10th anniversary. The line-up will also feature Mr Scruff, Foreign Beggars, Roni Size, Willy Moon, Dutch Uncles, Jackmaster, Dub Pistols live and DJ set, Kodaline, Wave Machines, Oneman, and Tricka Technology (Krafty Kuts, A Skillz & Dynamite MC), Bondax, Loadstar, Theme Park, Public Service Broadcasting, Slamboree, and more.

This year's adult early bird tickets were snapped up in under 8 minutes. Weekend tickets have gone on sale at 9am today, Thursday 28th February, priced at £115 including camping. A Thursday early bird tickets was priced at £10 (only valid with a full weekend ticket), free for under 10s, and a car park ticket is £5. Tickets sold out last year in the middle of June.

Traditional festival camping is at no extra cost and included in ticket price. There is also the new and improved Emperors Fields camping on offer priced at £25 for adults, £12.50 for teens (aged 11-15 years), and under 11s can stay free, and there are also yurts and tipis accommodation in the Deer Lodge available.
