I Am Kloot have been announced as the new headliner tomorrow at the Ramsbottom Festival which takes place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th September 2013 at the riverside location of Ramsbottom Cricket Club, Ramsbottom, in Lancashire.
The Manchester indie act have agreed to appear at such very short notice after the previously announced headliners The Futureheads withdrew from their proposed appearance tomorrow, Friday 13th September.
The Futureheads released the following statement:
"The Futureheads are extremely disappointed to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances we will no longer be able to perform at Ramsbottom Festival this weekend. We know from your messages that lots of you were looking forward to seeing us and we are gutted that we won’t be able to perform for you. We hope you still have a great weekend at this brilliant festival and we hope to see you soon."
Organisers have confirmed that if cancellation has caused any disappointment, and any Fridfay day ticket holders would like a full refund they should contact them by calling on 0161 761 2216 before 12noon tomorrow (Friday).
The Ramsbottom Festival is a not-for-profit project managed by The Met, an arts charity and performance venue in Bury. As well as all the bands, Rammy has a fun-filled array of festival activities for all ages, expect arts and music workshops, story telling, comedy, a funfair, a real ale tent, food and a silent disco.
Print at home tickets are still available.
A weekend ticket is priced at £65, a family weekend ticket for two adults and three children (over 6 and under 16) is priced at £140. A weekend ticket for children aged from under 16 to 6 years are priced at £10. There's free entry for children aged under 6 years but they still need a ticket.
