eFestivals can exclusively reveal the first headliner for Wychwood Festival 2014, and helping to celebrate it's 10th birthday, will be Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats who will headline Sunday night's festivities.
Also confirmed is Craig Charles who returns for a second year with his funk and soul show, on the Sunday afternoon, in the Big Top. Confirmed for the main stage on Friday are 'You to Me Are Everything' soul stars The Real Thing.
Completing the announcement are Merry Hell, and Polly & The Billets Doux who appear on the Mainstage on Saturday, and Sunday respectively.
Also as a special combined 10th Birthday/Christmas offer, organisers are offering 10% off the full price of tickets from 10am today, Wednesday 26th February.

The family-friendly, intimate and inclusive festival which offers a blend of world, roots and contemporary music, alongside comedy, workshops, and more aims to build on the success of the first seven years, and will return to Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 30th May until Sunday 1st June in 2014.
Wychwood has established itself as being one of the best family festivals in the UK, and prides itself on its eclectic mix of Indie, pop, world and folk music programming combined with comedy (sponsored by eFestivals.co.uk), loads of workshops, seminars and creative activities for all ages, all on a compact site.

The discount means adult weekend tickets are priced at £112.50, weekend disabled (2 for 1) tickets are priced at £112.50, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £90, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £54. Tickets for children aged 6 to 9 years old are priced at £18. Children aged 0-5 years can attend for free.
General camping passes (charged per person) are also discounted for the limited period offering an adult weekend/disabled camping ticket for £18, a weekend youth/concession camping pass is priced at £9, with those aged under 16s able to camp with grown ups for free. A campervan pass is priced at £54 with no additional camping passes needed.
These are the first acts confirmed for 2014. Expect more names for the line-up to be confirmed in the New Year, as well as some of the new content next year's festival will offer.
