Fairport Convention for Wirral Folk Festival

Fairport Convention lead the first acts for the 11th Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival now called Wirral Folk Festival which will take place from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th June 2015 all at one site on at the Whitby Sports & Social Club, Chester Road, Whitby, in Cheshire.

Other acts booked so far (subject to contract) are Cara Dillon, Richard Digance, Chris While and Julie Matthews, The Houghton Weavers, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Kieran Goss, Harvey Andrews, Elbow Jane, The Urban Folk Quartet, Reg Meuross, Other Roads, Merry Hell, Sunjay Brayne, Anna Shannon, Simply Dylan, John O'Connell, Kim Lowings and the Greenwood, Jess Vincent, Eilidh Grant, Fiddlestone, The Cheesecutters, Alterego, and Celtic Knot. Plus more to be confirmed.

Early bird weekend tickets and day tickets available from early December.
