Friday headliners Dub Pistols, special guests Subgiant, and The Beat, and Sunday headliner Colt 45 lead the first acts announced for the new Northbound Festival takes place from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August 2015 at Wellington Farm, Cockermouth.

The weekend will showcase both nationally-acclaimed and emerging artists, and the festival will also focus on talent from Cumbria and surrounding areas with Echotape, Wolf Club, Kontiki Suite, Mylittlebrother, Wasted Saints, The Atmospherics, Model Society, The Alleys, Bernaccia, Flight of Arrows, The iFoundation, Solar Wolf, David Kay, Youth Salute, Room Full of Mirrors, The Postcard Band, Periscope View, The Fiction, Chemistry Lane, Tiny Folds, Reece Rheinbach, Chris James, Hourglass, The Rucksacks, Dan Mason, The Twitchers, Anita Rose Anderson, Ivory Veins, Joe McCorriston, Chapin-Wickwar, Katie Gentry, and DeeDee Ray also confirmed. More acts including Sunday's headliners are still to be anonunced.

Early bird tickets are priced at £45 for adults and £25 for children aged 11 to 15 years, with children aged under 10 years able to attend for free. Tickets include camping for two nights. Live in vehicle passes are priced at £10, and all tickets are subject to a £1 booking fee.

This small festival won’t just be about the music, it will be about the whole festival experience with a strong family feel and include a children’s area, complete with its own disco, crafts and workshops.
