Reggae superstar Jimmy Cliff joins the main stage bill at Scotland's Wickerman festival happening on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2015.
On Saturday, the Jamaican reggae sensation will perform hits such as ‘Wonderful World, Beautiful People’, ’You Can Get It If You Really Want’, ‘Ska All Over The world’, ‘Many Rivers To Cross’ and ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ from his back catalogue, which spans nearly 50 years.
Other acts set to play include Friday Scooter Tent headliner The Sonics, Neneh Cherry, Stereo MC's, Julian Cope, The Sugarhill Gang, The Saints, Pere Ubu, TV Smith, Hector Bizerk, This Is The Kit, The Amphetameanies, The Ramonas, Ela Orleans, Esperanza, and Halfrican.
They join the previously announced headliners The Waterboys, Tom Odell, Squeeze, and Lulu, plus John Cooper Clarke, Steve Ignorant, Errors, Withered Hand, The Phantom Band, Youth Man, PAWS, Holy Mountain, and Example & DJ Wire.

Jimmy Cliff, The Sonics and The Sugarhill Gang are legendary, genre defining artists who will ensure that this year’s festival will be a brilliant celebration of music."
As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.
Sited on the 120 acre East Kirkcarswell Farm, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, in deepest Galloway, the festival welcomes families, and features two main stages, as well as a dance area, acoustic tent, a campsite, trade stalls, alternative area, bars, and food stalls.
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £110 for weekend adult tickets and £55 for weekend concession tickets, with children aged 12 and under able to attend for free. A campervan/caravan pitch is priced at £55 or £105 with an electric hook up. There are also VIP, and camping options available.
