Idlewild, and The Proclaimers are the first headliners to be announced for Ramsbottom Festival which takes place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2015 at Ramsbottom Cricket Club, in Lancashire.

Idlewild headline a line-up on the Saturdaythat includes Space Monkeys, Edward II, Tom Robinson, The Slow Readers Club, Marc O'Reilly, Black Rivers, and Ciaran Lavery.

Friday's headline act has not yet been announced, the first names for the opening day have been revealed as The Sundowners, Houdini Dax, and The Narrows.

Closing the festival on Sunday will be The Proclaimers with Moulettes, Flight Brigade, Baked A La Ska, RuRa, Grainne Duffy, Mark Radcliffe Galleon Blast, The Slytones, Bendrix, and David Gibb also confirmed to appear.

Arts across the weekend include The Marie Celestial commissioned in conjunction with Glastonbury Festival, it's a walking mechanical art installation and street theatre show that incorporates live, interactive aerial circus performance and music. Plus The Wheel House performed by Acrojou Circus Theatre, and Stone Balancing.

Tickets are priced at £55 for adults, and £120 for families(two adults and up to three children aged 6-13 years), a teen (14-17 years) ticket is priced at £1, a child (6-13 years) ticket is priced at £9, with those kids aged under 6 years able to attend for free.

The Ramsbottom Festival is a not-for-profit project managed by The Met, an arts charity and performance venue in Bury. As well as all the bands, Rammy has a fun-filled array of festival activities for all ages, expect arts and music workshops, story telling, a real ale tent, food and a silent disco.
