Tyne Treasures featuring The Lindisfarne Story Band and guests performing the complete 'Fog On The Tyne' album will be the mnain stage Saturday evening concert at next summer's Beverley Folk Acoustic Roots Festival which takes place for a 32nd year from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th June 2016 returning again to Beverley Racecourse.
Before them The Animals & Friends, will perform classic hits, followed by a set from acclaimed Durham-born singer/songwriter Jez Lowe.Lindisfarne's classic album 'Fog on the Tyne' topped the UK charts. The Newcastle band are joined by Billy Mitchell, and Ray Laidlaw to perform the Fog on the Tyne album in its entirety, along with Lady Eleanor, Run for Home, Clear White Light and many more favourites from the Lindisfarne songbook.
They join the first acts confirmed who are Steeleye Span, Kate Rusby, The Young'uns, and Maia.
Located in the shadow of historic Beverley Minster, Beverley Folk Festival promises 3 nights & 2 days of music, dance, comedy, spoken word, events & workshops for all, craft stalls, Real Ale, camping and more.
Expect over 80 acts in total this year.

An early bird 'winter special' weekend ticket with camping is priced at £115 or £95 for a weekend without camping. Concession tickets (for youths aged 12 - 17 years, those aged 65+ and Students) with camping is priced at £105 or £85 for a weekend without camping, and a family (2 x adult + 2 x youth = 1 youth ticket is FREE) with camping is priced at £335 or £275 for a weekend without camping.
Tickets for children aged 11 and under are free.
