This summer's Boomtown Fair, the festival with an on going narrative for around 45,000 festivalgoers - Chapter 8: 'The Revolution Starts Now' happening at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire over the long weekend of Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2016 has revealed more aacts and information aabout the festival’s hub for craft, creativity, eco-living and sustainability, Whistlers Green. The area has this year united with KidzTown and expanded into greener pastures. Featuring a whole host of new stages, cafes, chill-out areas, activities, workshops and education spaces, the area offers a family-friendly haven to soak up sounds, enjoy some rest and relaxation, pass on skills and learn all kinds of new ones.

Among the area’s latest additions is the Windmill Stage, which plays host to Craig Charles, Banco de Gaia, Prince Fatty ft. Horseman, Wrongtom meets The Ragga Twins Crew, onlyjoe, Will Varley, Smoove & Turrell, Oka, Ephemerals, Harleighblu, The Gene Dudley Group, The Allergies, Rrradio Gee, 3 Daft Monkeys, Pronghorn, Tankus the Henge, Fitty Gomash, First Degree Burns, Ben Russell and The Charmers, Crinkle Cuts, and Mr. Motivator.

For laid back, acoustic roots vibes, the Floating Lotus stage will feature Stick in the Wheel, Harry Bird & the Rubber Wellies, Sound of the Sirens, Rhain, Cate Ferris, Dila Varder and The Oddbeats, The Inexplicables, Forest of Fools, Tamu Massif, Tensheds, Patch and The Giant, The Messengers of God, The Woodland Creatures, Kuki & The Bard, Circe's Diner, Sam Evans & Andy Slade, Thickets, Mount Nakara, Snufkin & The Devil's Doorbell, The Flamenco Thief, Dexter Selboy and the Shonky Trio, Jess McAllister, and Arcadian Collective, plus a late night chill-out café.

At the heart of KidzTown will be the Sandcastle Stage, where an eclectic line-up of music, dance and comedy will keep the whole family entertained. Artists this year include Laid Blak, Joe Driscoll, Glitzy Baghags, Professor Elemental, The Brass Funkeys, OK2, Junior Jungle Rave, Batala, Easy Stride Band, and The Flamenco Thief, plus theatre and workshops from Panic Circus, Dreams & Whispers, Tumble Tots, and many more.

Building on Whistlers Green’s commitment to all things eco-friendly and sustainable, the green innovations and campaigns area has introduced the new Speakers’ Corner. A platform for engaging, entertaining and welcoming talks, comedy and debate, its aim is to educate, inform and raise awareness of important social, political and environmental issues.

For those keen to turn their hand to new talents, challenge themselves with creative crafts and get involved with all kinds of interactive activities, the workshops and skills spaces of Whistlers Green are the places to do it. From learning to play the ukulele or build a rocket stove, to magic tricks, aerial circus skills and trades such as blacksmithing and jewellery making.

Citizens wishing to indulge in a soothing massage or treatment for mind, body and soul should visit the Healing Place, or check in to the beautiful surroundings of the Coyote Moon luxury spa, which features an acoustic music stage, sauna, hot showers and a private garden.

KidzTown offers the festival’s younger Citizens a massive array of fun-filled, experiential and educational activities to get stuck into. From learning woodland skills in the brand new Forest School to participating in the incredible BoomTown Carnival, and playing in among the newly built streets and houses of KidzTown, children can take ownership of their neighbourhood and have their voices heard, making a positive contribution to the wider community.

Tier 3 city residency passes are priced at £170 & ecobond deposit. A limited number of teen (ages 13 - 17 years)  tickets priced at £135 will also be available, but these can only be purchased in conjunction with an adult ticket by someone 25 or over (maximum of 2 tickets) who will be accompanying all under 18 teen ticket holders throughout the duration of the festival.

Child tickets (aged 12 years and under) are free and can be ordered by anyone 25 or over.

Family car (£15), campervan (£60) or caravan parking (£65) passes are also available.

The festival also offers a split-payment scheme where separate payments in manageable chunks can be used to buy a ticket over a few months.

Option A: Two Instalments: Total ticket price (£170.00 + £6.95 booking fee + £10.00 EcoBond).  Payment schedule: Initial down payment is £85.00 + £16.95 due today. Final payment is £85.00 due 3rd June 2016.  All ticket prices listed here include the Ticket, Booking Fees and EcoBond.

Option B: Four Instalments: Total ticket price (£170.00 + £6.95 booking fee + £10.00 EcoBond).  Payment schedule: Initial down payment is £42.50 + £16.95 due today. Second Instalment is £42.50 due 3rd April 2016.  Third Instalment is £42.50 due 3rd May 2016.  Final payment is £42.50 due 3rd June 2016.  All ticket prices listed here include the Ticket, Booking Fees and EcoBond
