More acts have been be announced for the 13th annual Cornbury Music Festival held on The Great Tew Estate, Chipping Norton, in Oxfordshire from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th July 2016 with the campsite opening on Thursday and closing on Monday.
Beverley Knight will be this year’s special guest performing with Cornbury house band Staxs on Sunday. Nashville Country star Stella Parton, Dolly's younger sister, will be making a rare appearance on this side of the Atlantic on Friday along with young Scottish singer songwriter Kerri Watt.
Lastly Pierce Brothers will perform on Sunday on the Main stage following the Tuneless Choir from Nottingham.
Festival director Hugh Phillimore has also slipped in another act which he says he just couldn’t turn away, "Sometimes we come across something rather special while developing our international connections – world moving and shaking really. This year's special newcomers are Aussie duo Pierce Brothers."
Stella Parton and Kerri Watt share Friday’s bill with Jamie Cullum, Soul II Soul, Lemar and Wilko Johnson. Also appearing on Friday are The Beat, The Lottery Winners, Port Isla, The Dunwells and The Hummingbirds
All Saints, Corinne Bailey Rae and Booker T head a Saturday bill topped by Mr Bryan Ferry, with Gabrielle Aplin, Lucinda Williams and Turin Brakes. Sealing the bill are Red Sky July, Cattle & Cane, Lighthouse Family frontman Tunde, Hidden Charms and Hannah Grace.
Pierce Brothers and the Tuneless Choir will share Sunday’s stages with headliner Seal, Cornbury favourites The Shires, James Morrison, Newton Faulkner.The Zombies, and more.

In addition to the music, expect the festival to offer a variety of attractions including a fairground, many morris dance pageants, children's theatre workshops, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.
New this year is the Mayflower Project Teen Tent, a comfortable and safe setting where young festival goers can take part in workshops to learn new skills or just hang out with friends. The Teen Tent, with its comfy sofas has activities to distract them if they are bored but also gives them the freedom to do as much or as little as they wish.
