Dizzee Rascal has been announced as the Saturday headliner for Electric Fields, which will take place over two days this year on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd September 2017, at Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland.

Other acts newly confirmed are Band of Horses, Glass Animals, Peter Hook and the Light, Kate Tempest, Car Seat Headrest, Real Estate, British Sea Power, Anna Meredith, This Is The Kit, Aldous Harding, Marnie, Sacred Paws, Savage Mansion, Future Get Down, The Cut, The Vegan Leather, The Calm Fiasco, Nieves, 13 Crowes, and Tiderays.

Also newly announced are the first acts for the electronicline-up of the Sneaky Pete's Stage with Jackmaster as headliner, plus Artwork, Denis Sulta, Lord Of The Isles, and Space Dimension Controller.

These join the previously confirmed acts of Friday headliner Frightened Rabbit, along with The Jesus and Mary Chain, Arab Strap, Crash Club, And Yet It Moves, and Brat and the Bonemen. There's many more acts still to be announced over the coming weeks and months.

As well as the musical line-up, Electric Fields this year will expand its food and drink offering with a curated Food Village, and an Ale and Craft Beer Festival. This year will also feature spoken word curated by Scotland's finest, Neu! Reekie! and comedy, film and Q&As from some very special guests. For the young one's the "Our Kids Electric" area returns with a whole host of entertainment and workshops and of course, the legendary adventure playground is a hop skip and a jump away!

Tickets are back on sale at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 1st March). Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend. A 13-17 teens weekend ticket is priced at £55, a child (aged 6-12 years) weekend ticket is priced at £20, car-parking is £10, a campervan pass is £65, and children aged under 5 year can attend free, but need a ticket.
