Bestival, now held at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, and happening this week from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th September, has announced its line-up of comedy who will be performing on the Oberon’s Observatory stage over the weekend.
Topping the bill is radio & TV regular Marcus Brigstocke, while Bestival favourite Andrew Maxwell tops the comedy bill on Friday. Saturday's headline show is from Oh My God! It's The Church, which parodies a Deep South Pentecostal church along with the best soul, blues and disco tunes, and fronted by the insane pastor ‘Michael Alabama Jackson’.
Across the rest of the weekend there's also The Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue, Andre Vincent, Jayde Adam, Sarah Callaghan, Rich Wilson, Paul McCaffrey, Tom Houghton, Emmanuel Sonubi, Chris Betts, Ray Badran, Garrett Millerick, Elliot Steel, Tom Lucy, Sophie Duker, Andy Field, Morgan Rees, Huge Davies, Desiree Burch, Chris Washington, George Rigden, Harpers Harlots, and The Banyard Twins.
These join the music acts previously confirmed which includes The xx, A Tribe Called Quest, Pet Shop Boys, Justice, Dizzee Rascal, Little Dragon, Rag n Bone Man, Danny Brown, Laura Mvula, Soul II Soul, Circa Waves, Ray BLK, Loyle Carner, Jamie T, DJ Shadow, Kurupt FM, Blossoms, Lucy Rose, Twin Atlantic, AJ Tracey, Annie Mac, Andy C, Roots Manuva, and many more. Tickets are priced at £195 for Adult Tickets and £127.50 for Teen (age 13-17) Tickets. Tickets for children (age 12 & under) are free (but must have a ticket).
As well as bands and DJs on stages, there's the normal Bestival goings on of a big fireworks finale, the world's biggest confetti cannon, the world's biggest bouncy castle, the Bestival inflatable church, and much more.
