Moving on after two years at Baskerville Hall, the third edition of the 400 capacity Kallida Festival happens at the new location of Sparkford Hall, Somerset from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st July 2019. With daytimes enjoying music on the lawn, the action moves inside at night to rave to underground music DJs, with the country house decked out with heavyweight sound systems, sculpture, light shows and films.
For music there's an extended afternoon set from dub legends Aba Shanti-I, and bass & techno star Joy Orbison during the night. Teki Latex returns for a 2nd year, and there's a Nyege Tapres takeover with Kampire, and Otim Alpha. There's new jazz with Maisha, and Djeuhdjoah & Lieutenant Nicholson, and hip-hop from Layfullstop. Others on the bill are 2badmice, Debonair, DJ Bus Replacement Service, Sully, Yak, Phatworld, Sn0w, Martha, Famous Eno, Itoa, Fauzia, Ahadadream, Emily Dust, Make Me DJs, Proteus, Jam Jah Sound, Iguanas, Tetes de Pois, Friendly Fire Band, Longlegged Creatures, Otto & The Mutapa Calling, Venz, Morriarchi, DJ Gurl Power, Dankle, Monika Taneska, Triple Point, Stevie Cox, Smorsli, Kudan, Jr Josephs, Stevie T, Satsumas, Kushie, Earthworm Jim, Britney Houston, LSS DJs, Zeeni, Reuben G, Hugh Taylor, Funsby, B.D.D. Camping is free, and there's limited hotel rooms available for an extra charge. Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £105.
