Located in the picturesque northern fells of the Lake District and attracting musicians from the full range of folk genres, the line-up has been revealed for the 18th year of Ireby Music Festival which takes place over the over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May 2020.
Headlining this year is Kate Rusby, who is joined by Emily Mae Winters, Oka Vanga, Landermason, Anna Mieke, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Kim Edgar, Henry Priestman & Les Glover, Chris Fox, Damien O'Kane, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Mighty Doonans, Katie O'Malley, Price of my Pig, Charlie Louise, Becky Langan, Ian Douglas, and Ben Gates. There are also five (local) Cumbrian artists performing this year: Elaine Davidson, Laura James, Melanie Baker, Steve Wharton, and Hadrian's Union.
The main stage marquee is situated to provide a spectacular view of Skiddaw, the northern most mountain in England. Apart from the mainstage marquee, venues include the Globe Hall; St James Church and the Old Church all within Ireby village. For the line-up details as available please see the line-up page.
Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
Camping: £30 Friday & Saturday / £35 Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
weekend adult: £70
weekend aged 12-17: £25
weekend under-12s: free but needs ticket
Saturday ticket adult: £45
day tickets under-17s: £30
