The 4th annual Apollo Festival take place in York on Saturday 25th June 2016 in the grounds of York Sport's Club, Clifton Park, on Shipton Road.

Confirmed for the festival's five stages are Cast, Dodgy, Dave McCabe, The 5:15s, The Supermodels, Chris Helme, Vendettas, Marquis Drive, Apollo Junction, The Boston Shakers, Pelico, The Velcro Teddy Bears, Aftermath, Chasin Vegas, Cry Baby, Mallrats, Minster Conspiracy, Amy May Ellis, Beth McCarthy, Bravado Cartel, Red Light Revival, Van Der Neer, The Y Street Band, Jackobins, Kymberley Kennedy, Blind Dead McJones Band, Captain Of The Lost Waves, Ed Stones & The BD3, Joe Solo, Plumhall, Trigger Thumb, and Josh Robins.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £20 per adult (+ booking fee), a teen (aged 13-17 years) ticket is price at £10, a child (aged 4-12 years) ticket is price at £8, children aged 0-3 years are free. Prices include booking fees.

Festival goers will be able to enjoy four stages of music, plus a large number of stalls, attractions and caterers provided by some of York's favourite local businesses plus a full fairground, and a whole day of children's activities with open Air theatres free Kids zone and the annual hay bale fight.

The theme for the festival this year is 'Carnival'.

This year's kids section entertainment will include include Roman and Viking villages, donkey rides, facepainting and 'welly wanging'.

Charity

Organisers hope to raise as much as possible for charities.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
