Arcane Festival 2011

Arcane Festival returns for it's fifth year to Oxfordshire at City Farm, in Eynsham. this year the event for 500 will be three day event from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September 2011.

Chumbawamba, Imperial Leisure, 3 Daft Monkeys, Vaudeville Rave featuring JFB (Beardyman), Prism, Xpression Records feat. Dougal, Flight Brigade, Charly Coombes & The New Breed, The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band, Borderville, The Ox4 Allstars, The Brickwork Lizards, Skamel, Barking Toad, New Groove Formation, Bombdog, The Geees, Mustard & the Monocle, Mina Bigbum, The Sparkle Girls, Nine Stone Cowboy, The Phat Sessions House Band, The Matt Winkworth Band, Daisy E & the Unsteadies, more TBA.

Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Wekend tickets are priced at £40 (full price on the door £50 and include overnight camping Friday and Saturday only. A youth (ages 15-17) ticket is priced at £15, and children aged 14 and under can go for free. Under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21. The festival also offers a fully licensed bar with local real ale from Shotover Brewing Company, Cotswold lager & Tutts Clump cider, plus feline-themed cocktails in the Black Cat (acoustic) lounge; Vaults & Garden organic & local Festival Kitchen; Sunday Reggae Breakfast & Big Bandstand; storytelling fire; quiet camping; circus; shadow puppet theatre; circus skills workshops; more tba.

Charity

The nominated charities for 2011 are Practical Action, Farms for City Children and Asylum Welcome. The festival raised £1117.34 for theartroom.org.uk in 2010.

Public transport

The S1/S2 Stagecoach Oxford-Witney bus service stops at Eynsham Evenlode pub, from which point it's a 3 mile walk back to the festival site. It leaves from Oxford George Street stop B1.
