Auchinleck "Alive and Kicking" Festival takes place from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2012. The festival is held in Auchinleck, a small village in East Ayrshire (35 miles from Glasgow and 15 miles from Ayr).

Friday

Festival Opening Concert featuring Jai McDowell, Catdog, and Ex Simple Minds - Tickets £18

Saturday

Music at various venues ( with free admission) With Vendetta, Caledonia Blue, Local Heroes, The Hot Toddies, Choopacabra.
Plus an Arts and Craft Fair, football(TBC) and Disco for under 18's(no alcohol).

Sunday

TThe day starts with an Ecumenical Church Service in the Parish Church, followed by a Gala Day & Funfair in Merlin Park with lots of different activities and stalls.
The festival will end with a Dinner Dance with Counselled Out and the UK Beach Boys. Tickets for this event are £23 which includes a 3 course meal.
