The 6th annual Blues in the City Festival will run from Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd October 2016 at The Social Club, and surrounding pubs in Chelmsford.
The chosen charity this year is the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary near Chelmsford Essex (as it was last year too).
Line-up
The Blues Folk (Jerry Donahue & John Williamsom + Mike Bowden & Big Vern), Jerimiah Marques & the Blue Aces & Jamie Williams & the Roots Collective, Cowell / Hayes / Simpson / Stroud & Kelly (the Monday Band and Bad Influnce mixed together), Nicky Moore's Blues Corporation, Northsyde, Andy Twyman, Blues Cornsortium, Catfish, Delta Ladies, Dove & Boweevil duo, Elles Bailey, Jimi Whitewolf, Red Butler, Saiichi Sugiyama, and Salvation Jayne.
Tickets
Tickets are priced at £15 for a Friday or Saturday ticket, or two day ticket (Friday and Saturday) is priced at £25. Sunday and pub events are free.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
