The 3rd annual Electric Fields will take place over three days this year from Thursday 30th August to Saturday 1st September at Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway, in Scotland.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include headliners James (Thursday), Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Friday), and Leftfield (Saturday), along with Young Fathers, Teenage Fanclub, Idlewild, Ezra Furman, Ghostpoet, The Coral, Baxter Dury, Ibibio Sound Machine, Shame, Idles, and many more.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £120 for Friday/Saturday. A 13-17 teens Friday/Saturday ticket is priced at £45, a child (aged 6-12 years) Friday/Saturday ticket is priced at £20, and children aged under 5 year can attend free but need a ticket. Campervans £65.
Thursday add-ons are £26 for an adult, and £5 for under-16s.

Held in the grounds of the 17th century Drumlanrig Castle, and with a limited capacity of 5,000 the festival focuses on fresh, exciting and relevant music. The site is approximately 90 minutes drive south of Glasgow / Edinburgh and 90 minutes north of Carlisle.

For Thursday arrivals, the campsite will be open from 9am on Thursday 30th August, with the arena open from 5pm.

For friday arrivals the campsite is open from 9am Friday, with the arena open from 2pm.

As well as all the music, Electric Fields has attractions such as Boutique and Family Camping, The Real Ale Festival, high quality world cuisine and the Our Kids Electric childrens’ area offering lots of activities and games for kids and a few surprises.
