Ely Folk Festival 2013

The Folk Weekend, now in its 28th year, is based on a single site which includes marquees, camping facilities, food stalls, trade stands, real-ale bar, real toilets, showers, children's entertainment plus Morris displays and pub sessions during the day in Ely City centre.

This is a small, friendly festival happening from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th July 2013, where artists play meet and greet 'unplugged' sessions, there is also a real ale bar, trade stalls, numerous concerts, dances, displays, sessions, ceilidhs and children's entertainment plus a programme of workshops.

Line-up

The latest additions are Triptych, Akmed's Camel, Blackjack Blues Band, Gregg Cave, Akwaba, Tom Conway, Just William, Fred's House, Dave Gerard, and Cromwell's Talking Head.

They join Treacherous Orchestra, Seth Lakeman, Home Service, Ezio, Lucy Ward, Karine Polwart, ahab, The Bonny Men, Hans Theessink, State of the Union, Jaywalkers, Adrian Nation, Keith Donnelly, Flossie Malavialle, Elbow Jane, Andy Wall, Other Roads, The Woodberrys, Jacqui & Geoff, James Morgan, and Ceilidhography..

Boo Hewerdine has become patron to Ely Folk Festival and will be performing as one half of State Of The Union.

Accommodation

There is ample space for tents and caravans on site, and free parking is provided close to the festival site. There are also plenty of alternative accommodation available in Ely. Ely city centre is easily accessible by the organised shuttle bus (or 20 minutes walk).

Tickets

Early bird weekend adult tickets are priced at £64 (£54 concessions); kids tickets for those aged 10-17 yrs are £22. Camping is priced at £10, or £5 for kids, each camping is charged per person whether it's a tent, or in a campervan or a caravan. A Friday only ticket is priced at £20, a day Saturday ticket is priced at £36, and all day Sunday tickets priced at £32. To buy tickets when available, click here.
