Folk on the Lawn is a FREE (donations) event which takes place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July 2011 at Abbey Mill, Tintern, Monmouthshire, Gwent, in South Wales.

Line-up

Saturday
Alan Coles and Nine Mile Point, The Hittites, Foxpockets, Gramercy Riffs, Dragon's Breath, Andrew Smillie, Manikin Folk, Stephen Light, The Galleons Band, Lauford (music), and Owen Field (novelist – reading and interview), Olivia Perry (music), Peter Gowan (poetry), David Jandrell (author – reading and interview), Newport FC. Plus from 8 -10pm and evening concert featuring Pamela Wyn Shannon and The Hittites.

Sunday
Jon Airdrie and the Shelleys, Fuzzbirds, Gordy Orde, Wicker Bones, Nick Smith, Loxley, Quince12 – Eira/Snow (music), plus Torfaen Open Mic (spoken word), Blind River Scare (music), Lee Jones (music), and Newport Folk Club.

The festival runs from noon each day and does not offer it's own accommodation, but there are camping and other options nearby.
