Garforth Arts Festival 2011

The seventh Garforth Arts Festival takes place from Monday 27th June to 9th July. There are more than 20 events taking place across 2 weeks, from gigs, to theatre, to dance and comedy so there is something for everyone.

Firmly established as a part of the city's annual cultural calendar, the festival brings a variety of music, dance, drama and comedy to the heart of Garforth.

9th July – The Playground Party (main event): Billy Bragg, Salsa Celtica, Urban Strawberry Lunch, Garforth Jazz Rock Band, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Screamin' G's Shiny Band, + very special guests (to be announced shortly)

East Leeds FM Stage: Bramley Primary, The Artists, Next Generation, Next Gen 2011, Poaching For Mamoths, Liz Reynolds, Joseph & David, Tigers That Talked

27th June until 8h July at various times & venues: The Wallbirds, Mojo 57, Nicki Allan, Stories From The Street, Red Ladder, Gleeds, Slania, Friday Night Live, Open Mic Nights, West Yorkshire Youth Dance Festival, East Leeds FM + more TBC

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
