GFest - Gaywise Festival, 'London's LGBT and queer cross - annual art festival for all', takes placeat Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Tottenham from Saturday 7th to Monday 9th November 2013. A platform for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and queer artists. It is produced and organised by arts charity Wise Thoughts.

Line-up

QBoy, Dean Atta, Naechane Valentino and EvOn Musicbully will be headline acts for the GFEST performances on 9th  November. 

Four creative workshops will run under the theme of ‘Learning from Riots’ on Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th November at the arts centre.

‘Riot of Colours’ visual arts exhibition will feature works by Beldan Sezen, Marta Kochanek, Jason C Woodson, Sina Shamsavari and Simon Croft. 

GFEST 2013 closing party ‘Bollywood Blast’, which is open to all, will take place on 9th November from 9.30 pm and is organised by Sholay Productions, New York.

The Broader theme for this year’s GFEST is ‘Art Riots - presenting positive contributions by diverse artists in the community’.

Established in 1999, Wise Thoughts creates dynamic arts initiatives and delivers services to help address social justice issues and needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities. Wise Thoughts runs Creative Cultural Hub (CCH) activities in Haringey. GFEST  - Gaywise FESTival is organised and delivered by arts charity Wise Thoughts.

The festival comprises of a screening of films, music performances, creative workshops, a Bollywood themed party and a visual arts exhibition at the North London venue.

On the 8th November, Some London and UK premieres in the line-up of films include: feature length 'The New Black', and short films - 'Bumming Cigarettes', 'Miss Nizhoni', 'Hide and Seek' and 'My Genderation (Alice)' - made by filmmakers from the UK, USA and all the way to Pakistan.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
