Hull Folk and Maritime Festival celebrates folk culture, its traditional values and varied styles, with a three day event from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July 2025 covering Hull Marina, Victoria Pier, Humber Street and the Old Fruit Market areas.

With it's centuries-old waterfront location and its sea-going heritage, the UK's City of Culture for 2017 provides the perfect setting for a unique event which resonates with the traditions and individual character which is embodied here. Over 70 acts will be performing mostly free of charge at a variety of venues; there will singaround and tunes sessions in local pubs, and dance team displays, while several historic vessels will be moored up in the Marina, providing public access and hosting performances. Running alongside the event will be a real ale festival, with over 60 top quality beers to choose from.
