Jedi Music Festival takes place at Victoria Park, Southport on Sunday 26th July. The festival is a wholly independent event which is returning for its third year now, but, and this year it will be staged outdoors. The festival is organised to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS).

The line-up includes Matt Belcher, The Antarctic Monkeys, Noasis, Coldplace, and The Blue Meanies.

As well as the main stage action there are acoustic acts, a DJ, a comedian, plus festival entertainment from BMX and Skateboard displays, climbing walls, cage soccer and even a 'beat the goalie' competition with Southport FC! Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service will also be at the festival offering everyone FREE 10 year smoke alarms, advice on Fire and Road safety. There will be a number of youth engagement activities and also information on how to apply to become a professional Firefighter with more events going on inside the venue too.

On site facilities include Bars, healthy food and non food stalls all promoting healthy lifestyles, and well being.

As well as raising funds for the CRY charity, the festival also has a healthy lifestyle thread and is being supported by a number of companies and organisations.
