Newcastle Community Green Festival 2006

Now in its 12th year, Newcastle Community Green festival aims to offer positive solutions to environmental problems. Saturday 3rd June is a Family Day, open from 12 - 6pm. Sunday 4th June is the Main Festival Day, open from noon until 10.30pm.

The festival has a number music stages (Main, Dome, Deerpark, Cafe, and a bandstand) with bands and DJs of all genres from around the area.

There's also an Environmental Trade Fair, a Farmers Market (tbc), a Circus Area with workshops, a Childrens Area, Fairground Rides, a Games Area including table football, table tennis & traditional fairground games such as coconut shy, a One World Heritage Area with craft workshops and professional demonstrations, a Fireshow, a Story Telling Yurt with traditional folk fables, a Healing Area, a Green Parade, and much more.

Please note: This is a city based festival - NO CAMPING.
