The Festival on the Moor is the biggest gathering of traditional musicians, singers and children's entertainers seen within the North York Moors National Park. Venues are located throughout the North York Moors from village greens and moorland to pubs, tea rooms and village halls. There are also dancers (Locos in Motion and Great Northern Clog), visual arts and a festival of food.

The line-up this year includes:
Saturday night, September 3rd at the Moors Centre, Danby: John Kirkpatrick; with support from Nakaire, Mamadou Cissokho and Sehourouba (from Senegal) and beginning with Richard Grainger and The Klondyke Band.
There's a further appearance from Richard Grainger at Westerdale Village Hall on Monday 6th.
Also The Wilson Family at Osmotherley; Artisan and Flossie at Guisborough Hall; and the Fettlers appearing with Stu Macfarlane at The Goathland Hotel on Wednesday 8th.
Other acts include: Gordon Tyrall; Rodney Cordner and Jeanne Pierre Rudolfe; Keith Kendrick; Ron Angel; Francis Kendal and Geoffrey Harrison; Brian Krengal; Ian McNicol and more.
