Pitch Invasion 2011

The fourth annual Pitch Invasion is a family-friendly FREE Music Festival, held at Seaton Carew Cricket Club, Seaton, Hartlepool, in Cleveland on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2011.

The event is is run to support and show off the local talent in the North East. Over 30 bands will take to two stages over the weekend, 6000 people attended in 2010, doubling the numbers in 2009.

Line-up

Headlined on Saturday by UK Foo Fighters, with The Samantha Durnan Band, Up!Down!Strange!, The Hostage Rescue Team, Kiss Your Commander, Young Hegelians, Paper Taxis, Made Up Stories, Black Magic, Atlantic In Transit, Ed Zackery, and 3D.

On Sunday by New2 headline with Rayne, Hand of Aces, Lennox, Moonlight Valentino, Behind Human Eyes, Twister, The Chloe Gibson Band, Without A Trace, Moonrunners, Kinetics, and The Free Radical in support.

In addition later in the evening in the Marquee the Music will continue with Acoustic Solo and Groups featuring The Chapman Family, Lost State of Dance, Antlez, Scholars, We Are The People, About A Plane Crash, Coalition, Bring Back Honesty, Fallen Edge, A Fable For The Curious, Mannequin Attic, The Bass Thieves, and Curious Kontrol on Saturday.

On Sunday it's the turn of The Buble Experience, Saxfiend, Chelcee, Michael Rice, Nick Dixon, Lewis Murphy, Jordan Grylls, Laura Bartlett, Anthony Clark, Kate Williams & Her Boys, La Volpe, Let’s Pretend, Zoe Lister & Lisa Coulson, Beth Lowery, Abbie Farrelly, Faye Bradley, AJ Wilde, and Gil Parker.

Family friendly

As Pitch Invasion is a Family Fun Event, there will be a number of fairground attractions, drum and instrument workshops, army and fire service games and events, fun buses and Knight Battle renactments.

Charity

The event will be raising money for 2 good causes the Red Dreams Charity and Regional Radio station TFM's 'Cash For Kids'.
