The 15th Saltaire Festival takes place from Saturday 12th until Sunday 20th September. It's a community event offering music and more with street entertainment, stalls, displays, shows, and a carnival.
Line-up
The full festival programme includes children's activities (storytelling, entertainers, magicians, & more), exhibitions and shows, a beer festival, pop-up events within houses, music, local history tours, open gardens, sculpture trails, tours, poetry & spoken word, comedy, arts & crafts, dance, film, theatre, and more, with many events free but also some ticketed paid-for shows. These include:
Gem Andrews brings her distinctive acoustic folk style to the United Reformed Church whilst this year’s, ever popular, comedy night features Justin Moorhouse.
Local writer Eddie Lawler premieres his new play ‘Making Light’ at Caroline Street Social Club, and Jeanette’s Cakery provides a scrumptious afternoon tea for ‘The Strangest Battle’: A Suffragette Tea Party by Hattie Townsend.
Curry lovers won’t go hungry and can enjoy An Evening of Indian Food and Bollywood courtesy of newcomers Curryosity.
The village will be alive with music as The Mighty Wurlitzer springs into action at Victoria Hall and The Live Room at Caroline Street Social Club play host to 3hattrio as well as Flats and Sharps from Penzance.

The main part of the festival takes place in the final weekend when there's a beer festival, continental street market, craft fair, bands on the Piazza Stage, and more.
