Short Circuit is a festival of pioneering electronic artists held at London's, Roundhouse from Thursday 12th until Saturday 14th May. The three day festival is dedicated entirely to the appreciation and exploration of electronica.

The Roundhouse will host German electronic label Raster-Noton and Mute as this year's annual Short Circuit Festiva. Raster-Noton, who are celebrating their 15th anniversary, have confirmed a line up for the opening night which features the world premiere of a new collaborative piece by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto, plus performances from Anne James Chaton, Grischa Lichtenberger, Atom TM, Byetone and Mark Fell.

Friday and Saturday will feature performances and unique collaborations from Mute artists past, present and future alongside DJs, talks, workshops, screenings and installations. The occasion will see all of the Roundhouse's public spaces open together for the first time. A specially created sound piece will link the Raster-Noton and Mute events. The Raster-Noton / Mute Sound Halo will consist of sound loops created by artists from both labels and will play overnight from 12 May to link the two events.
