Soundwaves is dedicated to new and experimental music, and takes place across Brighton and Hove for three days from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th July. Events are held at various locations and there are several free events taking place around the town too.

Soundwaves will offer festival goers installations to explore, video art, performance art, music theatre, concerts, ensemble performances, outdoor events, a symposium and much more is promised. Coming from across Britain to Brighton, over 100 artists with more than 20 new works will appear in public spaces, foyers and theatres to explore the entertaining possibilities of what music can be.

A strong visual thread runs through the festival.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £30 for a weekend pass, and £15 for an evening pass. Individual event tickets are also available (see above for prices).

Accommodation

Festival goers will need to find themselves accommodation whilst the festival is on as there is no camping facilities at the event.
