The Woolfire Festival takes place in Woodmancott, in Hampshire, in the South of England from Friday 29 until Sunday 31 August 2008.
This is a small festival looking to promote lesser known artists and alternative music and has camping available. There will be over eighty acts consisting of bands, DJs, electronic artists, acoustic acts, label showcases and particularly those artists with a more diverse, experimental edge to their music. Performances will be split across three outdoor stages and you can expect a range of rock, indie, reggae, funk, punk, folk, noise-core, trance, dance, electronica and more.
Artists confirmed for this year are Capitol K and A.Human as headliners and The Wind Whistles and festival producer Rustleaf on the Woolfire stage.
On the Brainlove Records stage on Friday are Napoleon IIIrd, Keyboard Choir & more.
Don Phillipe Dance Arena is headlined by Braindrop, Graffiti Breakz and DJ Shorty & Hi Society.

The music kicks off on Friday 29th August at 5pm with acts from London label Brainlove Records taking over the Woolfire and Elysium Stages during the evening, before handing over to Capitol K to top off the Woolfire Stage. Music will start at noon on the Saturday and Sunday. Music finishes at around 3am on the Friday and Saturday nights, with an earlier 5:00pm finish on the Sunday.
DJ's on the Don Phillipe Stage will offer a mix of Techno, House and Soul, moving into some heavy breaks from Braindrop and Grafbreaks towards the end of the evening.
In addition to the diverse range of music on offer there will also be provision of a bar, food stalls, craft stalls, various fun and educational workshops, and the all new Woolfire cinema.
The Festival will be open from 12:00noon on the 29th to 7:00pm on 31st August. The first 100 audience members on site tomorrow will receive a free limited edition CD featuring collaborations and contributions from this year's performers.
Tickets are priced at £35 for a weekend ticket or £40 on the day, Children (under 13) are free. click here to buy.
