The Festival of World Cultures is now in its 7th year and takes place over three days from Friday, 25th August to Sunday, 27th August, in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.
With more than 160 events in 40 venues and featuring artists from 50 countries the Festival entertains audiences in excess of 200,000 with a diverse and expanding programme of music (several free outdoor music concerts), circus, theatre, dance, club nights, markets, exhibitions, workshops and activities for children.
There is a World Craft Fair and Global Village in association with Oxfam Ireland, featuring arts, crafts and food from every continent, plus Festival Talks focusing on culture and on global issues. There are also workshops, family events, street theatre and dance, and a host of late-night parties.
The full program of performing artists is to be announced in early July.
