GFest – Gaywise Festival, 'London's LGBT and queer cross - annual art festival for all', takes place over two weeks from Monday 7th to Sunday 20th November 2011. The festival focuses on three categories covering Short Films, Visual Arts and Performances. Complimenting the programme are a series of talks, debate and parties. A platform for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and queer artists. It is produced and organised by arts charity Wise Thoughts.

Line-up

Marcus Reeves, Johnny Guim, Olifanttakeover Teatro, Ezra Axelrod, London Gay Symphonic Winds, Denis Fernando, Queer Playback Theatre workshop, Carly Bryant, Janice Perry, V G Lee, EvOn, Holestar, The Pink Singers, Guy Harries, Ste McCabe, Andra Simons & Stephane Roul, and Naechanè Valentino.

The festival focuses on three main categories covering Short Films, Visual Arts and Performances. Complementing the programme are a series of workshops, participatory theatre, debate and parties.

The festival has been seen as hugely successful art event where thousands of Londoners enjoy and benefit from the showcase of emerging and established gay talent.

Venues

This year the festival will take place across various London venues including The Dreamspace Gallery, Prince Charles Cinema, The Cockpit theatre and Rich Mix amongst other venues.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
