Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has run every summer since 1947. Each year around 4,000 performers converge on Llangollen a small Welsh town to sing and dance in a unique combination of music, dance and international peace and friendship.
The 68th Eisteddfod will take place from Tuesday 8th until Sunday 13th July 2014 at the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen.
Line-up
Six days of music and folk dance from all over the world in one place! More than 4,000 competitors, from over 50 countries will take part. There first acts confirmed are Status Quo; Bryn Terfel; Caro Emerald; Carnival of Nations featuring the Opening Ceremony, Procession of Nations, Spelbound, Bruce Bilodeau, Gandini Juggling: Nightclubs, Chinese Acrobats, and International Competitors; A Celebration of Culture Day; Adiemus Colores featuring Noah Stewart, Pacho Flores and Ksenija Sidorova; International Youth Day; International Celtic and Folk Day; Spirit of Unity; Cape Town Opera, Wales Millennium Centre’s ‘Only Kids Aloud’ Chorus, Gary Griffiths, The British Sinfonietta; Choir of the World; and special guests Richard and Adam.

Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
