Penkhull Jazz & Blues Festival 2011

Penkhull in Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire is holding the third FREE Penkhull Jazz and Blues Festival in the village on Saturday 23rd July 2011.

Venues

All the five public houses in the area, the Beehive, the Greyhound, the Marquis of Granby, the Terrace and the White Lion will host around 16 live bands, all with free admission.

Line-up

The Village Green: The Saffron Quarterlight, The Rooster Jak Band, Rachel Rimmer, Grace, The Old Fashioned Love Band, Jim McShee, Watson & Co.
The Terrace Inn: The Bill Daison Band, Cry Baby & the Hoochie Boys, Front Page News
The Marquis of Granby: Steve Hayes & Les Hunt, Swamp Dawgs, Faustus.
The Greyhound Inn: Paul Gibson, London Road
The Beehive Inn: Whiskeyhead, Rude Boys, Julie Roberts.

Entertainment

Street artists - face painters, saxophonists and their like will be performing throughout the afternoon. Live music in the pubs is expected to start between 2 PM and 3 PM and finish at around 11 PM.
