The Small is Beautiful festival is a hands-on weekend exploration of social justice and low carbon technology through talks, practical workshops, debates, music and the arts.
The festival will present a one day/night event at CAT Wales at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Powys, in mid-Wales on Saturday 10th September 2016.
Line-up
Music: Count Drachma, The Saltcutters, The Small is Beautiful all-star ceilidh band, The hi-Five Hi-Fi and Djs Guava beats.
Speakers: Natalie Bennett, (by then ex-leader of the Green Party), and Paul Smith Lomas (Practical Action’s International Director).
Workshops: V3 Power, Flexitarian Bristol, Frack Free with Friends of the Earth, Community Mobilisation with Friends of the Earth, Oral history of CAT, Zero Carbon Britain, Hydrogen lego car racing, and Aquaponics, plus many more to be announced...... .
Tickets
Early bird tickets are priced at £30 for adults, a Concession weekend ticket is £25.
Accommodation
