Music for Africa was founded by Tom Toomey in 1999 with the aim of raising money to put music into the lives of the children of Phokwane, South Africa. Funds raised through these annual concerts enable them to buy instruments, find, train and pay the wages of local music teachers and even help build new classrooms. This year's line-up is as follows:
15th July: The Fake Beatles; Fat Marrow Blues Band; Stereoironics; and Tim and Danny.
16th July: Jingo Santana; The Rollin' Clones; Cut Collective; The Fingersmiths and the Desert Divas.

The event also offers a festival real ale beer tent; free parking; and a range of traditional and ethnic food with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
